What this report covers
This report is built on the LLM Pulse dataset, the largest ongoing scrape of AI search answers anywhere. It ranks the websites that AI search engines cite most when they answer real user questions, across every answer we captured on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Mode and Google AI Overviews in the last 7 days.
How we measure this
- LLM Pulse runs thousands of real prompts every week against ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Mode and Google AI Overviews and captures the full response, the same pipeline enterprise customers use to monitor their own brands.
- For each answer we parse every citation and resolve it to its registrable domain (so www.wikipedia.org and en.wikipedia.org roll up to wikipedia.org). Inside the LLM Pulse app, the same data is broken down per prompt, per country and per competitor.
- A domain counts once per answer, even if cited multiple times. An answer with zero citations is excluded from the denominator.
- The rolling window is the last 7 days ending on the snapshot date shown above. The ranking is rebuilt daily from the live LLM Pulse dataset.
Why this matters
AI search is becoming the front door for a large share of high-intent queries. Being cited means your content is part of the answer AI gives millions of users, even when they never click through. Most analytics tools cannot see any of it.
